Young Adult Volunteers: Year of Service, Lifetime of Change

The Young Adult Volunteer (YAV) program is an ecumenical, faith-based year of service for young people, ages 19-30, in sites around the world and across the United States. YAVs accompany local agencies working to address root causes of poverty and reconciliation while exploring the meaning and motivation of their faith. YAVs serve during the academic year, August to July.

Program benefits include a regular stipend, housing, transportation and student-loan assistance. Follow @yavprogram for updates & apply online today at youngadultvolunteers.org!

Application season begins October 1, 2018 and ends June 1, 2019. The final date to apply to international sites is March 1, 2019. Apply by January 1, 2019 for early placement.
