Disability Inclusion

The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) upholds its commitment to the fullness of God’s creation by fostering spaces and opportunities for those with disabilities.

Through the work of the Presbyterians for Disability Concerns Network and the Presbyterian Health Education and Welfare Association, the church helps support churches looking to be more inclusive and accessible.

A network of the church, the Presbyterians for Disability Concerns welcomes those who affirm, support, and advocate for the gifts, rights, and responsibilities of people with disabilities in the total life of the Church.

Since its creation by General Assembly action in 1956, the Presbyterian Health Education and Welfare Association has worked to make the Church more responsive to the needs of those who have found themselves on the margins of the Church and society, centering their much-needed voices and perspectives.
