PHS Welcomes New Staff

We are happy to welcome Joyce Rivera to the Presbyterian Historical Society as our new Public Services Assistant! Her first day was Tuesday, January 17.

Joyce enjoys studying ancient, cultural, and church history and has a passion for uniting people through the interpretation of history. She obtained a Masters degree in History with a concentration in Public History from SNHU (Southern New Hampshire University) and has interned at the archives of Taller Puertorriqueño and volunteered at the Franklin Institute, both in Philadelphia.

At PHS Joyce will support the operations of the Public Services department, including greeting visitors, retrieving archival materials for researchers, and responding to remote reference inquiries.

Welcome to the team, Joyce!
