Dear fellow co-workers in God’s mission,
Greetings from Chiang Mai.
Blessings to you during the season of Thanksgiving and Christmas.
We thank God for the grace by which God has led us this year. We also thank you for thinking of us, praying for us, and walking with us in the ministry in Thailand as together, we share in these seasons of gratitude and hope.
One month has passed since the historic flooding that happened on October 4, but it seems its after-effects will be around for a while. It might take a long time before we are fully recovered even though we have almost completed the clean-up that we can do by ourselves. A fence protecting the house has been destroyed. Mud and trash outside the house still need to be cleaned up. It also might take a long time to repair electrical appliances that were flooded. We seem to be gradually conforming to the attitude toward life displayed by Thai people who feel it is not a big deal to be late, wait long, or adjust if things do not go as planned.

It was a good opportunity to meet local church leaders with whom we could work together for the growth of Thai churches. Even though the Christian population rate is still very low, we thank God that the Christian faith has been passed down from generation to generation until today. We ask you to continue praying and walking together with us and the Church of Christ in Thailand as we minister together to expand the kingdom of God in Thailand.
We are going to be in the U.S.A. from February until May next year for our Interpretation Ministry, as we wrote in our last letter. We hope to have a time of sharing about our life in Thailand.
