Biographical Note
Little is known of John Rhoads' life. He was appointed to the Board of Home Missions, apparently in 1824, to serve territory within Luzerne County, PA. He traveled back and forth throughout the county, preaching to four congregations in particular. In 1829 he informed the Board of Missions that without further financial support he would have to resign his commission.
This collection consists of four small diaries, one address to a session, and one letter and commission to the Board of Home Missions.
