Guide to the William A. Stoltzfus Papers
William A. Stoltzfus was assigned to the Syria Mission by the Board of Foreign Missions in 1921 where he served as a teacher at Nabatiyah, Sul el Gharb, and Tripoli. In 1927, he was assigned as principal of the North Syria Schools in Aleppo. In 1937, he was appointed president of the American Junior College for Women where he served until 1958. Following his return to the U.S., Stoltzfus served as Secretary for College Relations for Beirut College until his death in 1964.
