Guide to the United Presbyterian Church of North America. Board of American Missions Records
The Board of American Missions was created in 1928, replacing the Board of Home Missions. The holding boards of Home Missions, Church Extension and Freedmen's Missions, formerly under the Board of Home Missions, were placed under the auspices of the new Board of American Missions. With the merger between the United Presbyterian Church of North America and the Presbyterian Church in the USA in 1958 the work of the Board of American Missions was placed under the Board of National Missions of the United Presbyterian Church in the USA.
Record Group 45 consists of 11 bound volumes of miscellaneous financial records from the Board of American Missions, 1941-1958.
