This collection contains items relative to the preparation of religious texts for children directed by the Board of Christian Education's Department of Children's Work, 1950-1959. Those primarily responsible for this work included Jessie Dell Crawford, Frances Sumner Frisbee, Ethel Tilley, Kathrene McLandress Tobey and Elizabeth Whitehouse.
