Labor and Living Wages and the Connection to Poverty - This video is the first in the Struggle is Real Affordability series by the Presbyterian Church (USA) Self-Development of People (SDOP) ministry. Watch Hillside Presbyterian Church and three grassroots organizations: Chicago Arise, Community Alliance for Community Service and Global Roots of Louisville funded by the SDOP ministry thanks to the One Great Hour of Sharing Offering discuss how their organizations are involved in labor and living wages issues. The panel focuses on key labor issues including fair wages, workers’ rights and exploitation and advocacy for unemployed workers.
