The Rev. Bruce Reyes-Chow joins Zephyr Point Conference Center as its church relations and development officer
The pastor, author and Moderator of the 218th General Assembly (2008) grew up attending events at Zephyr Point

Zephyr Point Conference Center is pleased to announce the addition of the Rev. Bruce Reyes-Chow to its team as a part-time contracted church relations and development officer.

Reyes-Chow has been an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) since 1995 and grew up attending events at Zephyr Point since the mid-1980s. He has served seven churches over the past 30 years, and in 2008 was elected Moderator of the 218th General Assembly of the PC(USA).
He is a sought-after speaker and, over the years, has preached at the Presbyterian Youth Triennium, the Festival of Homiletics, and at multiple congregations and conferences. He is the author of six books, his most recent being “Everything Good about God is True: Choosing Faith,” a sweeping primer on Christianity.
Not only does Reyes-Chow bring a deep commitment to faith and a nuanced understanding of church life, but he is also a convener of people, one called to nurture spaces of empathy, belonging and justice.
“I am excited to join the Zephyr Point team because this place played such a significant role in my faith formation and Zephyr Point is deeply committed to being a place of creativity, curiosity and justice that exudes the healing and expansive love of God that is so needed during these turbulent times,” Reyes-Chow said. “Plus, the view is not terrible.”
