Tours of PHS
The Presbyterian Historical Society welcomes individuals and small groups interested in learning more about PHS, our collections, and Presbyterian history.
Guided tours last approximately 30 minutes and include PHS's public exhibition spaces as well as a behind-the-scenes look at collection storage areas. During the tour, visitors will learn about the history of the Presbyterian Historical Society and its building and receive an introduction to the scope and variety of PHS's collections.
Available dates and group size
Tours are available by appointment, Mondays through Fridays, between 9am and 4pm. PHS is not open for tours on Saturdays or Sundays.
On Tuesdays through Fridays, PHS can accommodate tour groups up to 7 guests.
On Mondays, PHS is closed to research and may be able to accommodate larger tour groups of up to 20 people.

Scheduling a tour
To request a tour, please complete the Request a Tour of PHS webform below or contact the Reference Desk at [email protected]. Please include your preferred date(s), the number of people in your group, and any accessibility needs. A PHS staff member will contact you to confirm the date and time of your tour, or to discuss alternatives if your preferred date is unavailable.
