Appointments

In-person research is available by appointment Tuesday through Friday between 9am and 4pm. Researchers are welcome to arrive and leave any time between those hours.

Eight appointment spots are available per day. Please schedule a separate appointment for each individual accompanying you. Appointments can be scheduled up to four months (120 days) in advance. Same day appointments are available up to two hours before appointment time (6:59 a.m.). If you would like to make a same day appointment, please call the reference desk at 215-627-1852 to check availability. Please note that research appointments on November 26 and December 23 end at 2:00pm EST. Please check the Plan Your Visit page for a full list of scheduled closures. 

Book an appointment

• To see available dates, click the Schedule Now button below or scroll down to the embedded appointment scheduler below.
• Click the date you would like to book, then click the time and the “Confirm” button.
• In the form, enter your details then click “Schedule Event.” 

Please note that the scheduler only allows you to book one day at a time. Click the arrow at the top left or the link to "Schedule another appointment" to return to the scheduler to book additional days. We ask that you limit the total number of reservations you make to four days.
