Mission pastor Aisha Brooks-Lytle talks with Rocky Supinger about organizing The Common Place, a blend of two worshiping communities, an arts-based afterschool program, social services, and community center in southwest Philadelphia, all supported by an established, suburban congregation.
<---- Aisha Brooks-Lytle (who goes by Pastor Eesh) is a native of Philadelphia. She holds a bachelor of science in music from Temple University. After spending a significant time as youth director at Wayne Presbyterian Church in Wayne, Pennsylvania, she earned a Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary. She served various other churches in the tri-state area through her music ministry and preaching before returning to Wayne in 2013. Rocky Supinger has been the associate pastor at Claremont Presbyterian Church since 2008. His primary responsibilities are for junior high and high school youth. Rocky came to Claremont with his wife Meredith from Kansas City, Missouri, where he served for three years after completing his Masters of Divinity degree at Princeton Theological Seminary.
