Using Children's Books as Fun and Effective Choral Warm-Ups

Children’s books capture attention, imagination, and encourage creativity. While children’s choir directors know their value, they often feel they must sacrifice precious rehearsal time to incorporate books into children’s choir rehearsals. That sacrifice is not necessary when the content can be used to teach melodic or rhythmic concepts or a wide range of choral technique. This can work for Adults too!
