In 1991, the 203rd General Assembly adopted a statement representing policy regarding the nature and practice of evangelism in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) This ‘Call to Evangelism in Jesus Christ’s Way’ still speaks with power today. What is crystal clear since its writing is that we can no longer just stay in our churches waiting for people to come to us.
