The naming of Presbyterian Life and Witness marks an important next stage in the work of unification. Presbyterian Life and Witness serves as an agency of the General Assembly, working alongside mid councils, congregations, partners, and others across the PC(USA). The unification work continues as the agency settles into its structure, builds relationships, and learns new ways of working together.

The aspirational purpose, values, and priorities offer a shared frame for that work. They help describe why PL&W exists, how the agency seeks to serve, and where attention is focused in this season.
