Pigs for PYGs

Guest Post by Rev. Wendy Downing

Many of our stories come from letters with gifts to the Special Offerings or Presbyterian Giving Catalog. Today's kind note came from Fisk Presbyterian Church in Fisk, MO.

The youth in our church take up a "noisy" offering the third Sunday of every month and ask people to give their pocket change for mission. They then decide which charities they want to send the money to. They wanted you to have this money for a pig since we are PYGs and wanted to help a struggling family feed their children. They know there are people all over the world struggling with problems they don't deserve. Just wanted you to know that we are praying for Presbyterian Mission Projects across the globe.

Sincerely,
Rev. Wendy Downing & PYG (Presbyterian Youth Group) of Fisk Presbyterian Church
