Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), A Corporation announces Tamron Keith as its Chief Financial Officer
Keith currently serves as director of Financial Planning and Effectiveness in Presbyterian Life & Witness
LOUISVILLE — Following a multi-stage search that attracted 38 applicants, Tamron Keith will begin serving as chief financial officer for the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), A Corporation on Oct. 19. Keith is currently director of Finance Planning & Effectiveness for Presbyterian Life & Witness, an agency of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).
In the new role, Keith will serve on the Senior Leadership Team of the Administrative Services Group, the staff organization of Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), A Corporation. A Corporation is a corporate entity of the General Assembly that provides business services for the PC(USA).

Hall, president of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), A Corporation. “His appointment marks an exciting next step in strengthening ASG’s leadership and support for the mission and ministry of the church.”
Keith brings established PC(USA) experience and relationships to the role, along with expertise in financial projections and forecasting. His work will include analysis of revenue and expense trends, evaluation of financial scenarios and anticipation of future resource needs to inform planning and decision-making.
The selection process began with more than three dozen applicants. Nine candidates advanced from the initial screening, and five were interviewed on financial acumen and alignment with mission, ministry and organizational culture. Later stages also examined leadership and candidates’ ability to explain the 2027-2028 unified budget to a broad church audience.
As chief financial officer, Keith will focus on financial strategy and long-term sustainability. He will oversee financial operations, reporting and accountability; provide financial guidance to boards and ministry partners; help align resources with the unified budget; explore sustainable revenue opportunities beyond the portfolio of Stewardship and Funds Development; and lead the Finance and Accounting team.
“Since joining Presbyterian World Mission, then a ministry area of the Presbyterian Mission Agency, in October 2012, I have served in a variety of leadership and financial management roles, including Finance Manager, Associate Director of Finance & Administration and Acting Director with Presbyterian World Mission; Director of Finance and Administration with the Interim Unified Agency; and Director of Financial Planning and Effectiveness with Presbyterian Life & Witness,” Keith said. “In these roles, I have been privileged to partner with colleagues, constituencies and national agencies across the PC(USA) and around the world, including the Administrative Services Group. As I take on this new leadership role, I look forward to working with Ian, the ASG Senior Leadership Team, the Finance & Accounting team and the A Corporation Board to serve ASG’s partners and the broader PC(USA).
“My experience in budget development, financial planning, performance monitoring and organizational financial management, including collaboration with the PL&W and ASG senior leadership teams and governing boards to develop the 2027-2028 Unified Budget, has given me a deep understanding of A Corporation’s funding and operational complexities,” Keith said. “I look forward to applying these insights to strengthen long-term financial sustainability, explore sustainable revenue opportunities and enhance financial systems, processes and operations over time.”
