Gen-On Ministries curriculum now available from Congregational Ministries Publishing

LOUISVILLE – GenOn Ministries and Congregational Ministries Publishing (CMP) of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) joined forces last fall to support more churches with engaging resources. The complete series of GenOn’s Faith for Life Bible study curriculum for ages Kindergarten through 8th grade is now available from the PC (USA) Store. Each 25-session course is downloadable and includes the teacher’s guide, student handouts, and ideas for furthering faith formation at home.

“In addition to Faith for Life, CMP also offers GenOn’s broadly graded high school Bible study courses, materials to implement and enrich relational midweek ministry, and resources for intergenerational gatherings,” says Liz Perraud, Executive Director, GenOn Ministries. “Resources can be ordered from pcusastore.com, where you will find descriptions and free samples.”

The relationship between the PC(USA) and GenOn Ministries goes back over 50 years. Previously, GenOn was known as Youth Club and The LOGOS Ministry and sprang up as a grassroots organization of Beulah Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Rev. Dale Milligan envisioned developing disciples of Jesus Christ by training and resourcing churches in dozens of Christian denominations in their ministry with children and youth.
