Aaron Long
My name is Aaron Long. I am 23 years old and was brought up in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I received my GED in 2023 after COVID-19 cut my high school experience short. I'm passionate about LGBTQ+ rights, women's rights, social justice reform, and environmental stewardship. I've heard nothing but stellar things about the YAV program and am hoping it'll be a truly transformative experience. During this year of service I can't wait to immerse myself in a new community, build meaningful relationships, learn from those around me, and see where this journey takes me.
