Presbyteries in Seattle and Barranquilla have created a partnership based on friendship and learning
For more than a decade, Seattle Presbytery has been engaged in a growing relationship with Presbiterio del la Costa in Barranquilla, Colombia. They haven’t been building homes, repairing storm damage, or any of the other activities often associated with international “mission” work. The two presbyteries have been building relationships. In a three-part series of videos, learn how this partnership came to be, how it has impacted congregations in Seattle and Barranquilla, and how other mid councils and congregations can embrace similar partnerships. In the first story, we hear how the partnership began and evolved from a presbytery-to-presbytery relationship to some church-to-church partnerships.
