Being Presbyterian in a Dysvangelical America

The authors of the newly released book “Being Presbyterian in a Dysvangelical America: A Guide to Reclaiming the Good News of God’s Grace” will join the Co-Moderators of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)’s 226th General Assembly for a conversation about the book’s core theological framework, interwoven with stories the Co-Moderators have gathered while traveling with the church during their term. Through participation in this webinar, ruling elders and deacons will be equipped to articulate and gain clarity about the PC(USA)’s identity within today’s cultural context.

This event was led by Ted V. Foote Jr., professor of pastoral ministry and leadership at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary; P. Alex Thornburg, pastor at Heartland Presbyterian Church in Clive, Iowa; CeCe Armstrong, associate pastor of St. James Presbyterian Church on James Island in Charleston, S.C.; and Tony Larson, pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Surfside Beach, S.C.
