Nepal

PDA has long-standing relationships with partners in Nepal. Since the 2015 earthquake, PDA has responded to several disasters and supported emergency needs in addition to long-term recovery and livelihood projects. 

In August 2026, a catastrophic glacier collapse in the Himalayas triggered severe flash floods and landslides. An emergency grant is providing medicine kits, food items, shelter and more. As the needs change, PDA will support our partners through the long-term recovery phase.
