- Building congregational vitality by deepening and energizing our faith
- Dismantling structural racism by fearlessly applying our faith to
- Eradicating systemic poverty by acting on our beliefs and working
and growing as joyful leaders and disciples actively engaged with our
community as we share the gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed.
advocate and break down the systems, practices and thinking that
underlie discrimination, bias, prejudice and oppression of people of color.
to change laws, policies, plans and structures in our society that
perpetuate economic exploitation of people who are poor.
The Presbyterian Hunger Program is proud to partner with so many great organizations that allow Presbyterians to do just that as they actively engage in the world around us, so our faith comes alive and we wake up to new possibilities!
Equal Exchange and the Presbyterian Coffee Project are just one way that Presbyterians can engage Fair Trade as a way of living out Christ’s urgent call to be a church of action, where God’s love, justice and mercy shine forth and are contagious.
