Trouble the Water
Originally published as a four-episode series in 2022, this film resource was designed to facilitate conversations and engagement around the issues of race and racism. In 2027, under a new name, a featured-length version including new footage and interviews, is expected to be available on streaming platforms and grassroots screenings.

“Trouble the Water: Conversations to Disrupt Racism and Dominance” is a documentary series designed to facilitate conversation and engagement around the issues of race and racism.
This project is the result of the collaboration across two Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) agencies and several offices and initiatives as well as responding to General Assembly actions.
This series is currently being edited into one feature film that will include new footage and an updated resource guide. Under a new title, it is expected to be available on streaming platforms in 2027.
