The World Council of Churches has drawn from many member communions to share resources and ideas of how to engage children and youth on issues of caring for God's creation and climate change. Free for download, "Climate Justice with and for Children and Youth in Churches" is a wonderful resource we highly recommend.
Another exciting opportunity for young people is to gather with others their own age to discuss topics related to creation care. For high school sophomores through graduating high schoolers in the United States, encourage applications for attending the two week Lux Summer Institute at Monmouth College. Themes range from climate change to food justice depending on the year, but intersectional connections are made to caring for God's creation and all people in it. Read more here.
