제 20 편

다윗의 시, 인도자를 따라 부르는 노래

1   환난 날에 여호와께서 네게 응답하시고 야곱의 하나님의 이름이 너를 높이 드시며
2   성소에서 너를 도와 주시고 시온에서 너를 붙드시며
3   네 모든 소제를 기억하시며 네 번제를 받아 주시기를 원하노라 (셀라)
4   네 마음의 소원대로 허락하시고 네 모든 계획을 이루어 주시기를 원하노라
5   우리가 너의 승리로 말미암아 개가를 부르며 우리 하나님의 이름으로 우리의 깃발을 세우리니 여호와께서 네 모든 기도를 이루어 주시기를 원하노라
6   여호와께서 자기에게 기름 부음 받은 자를 구원하시는 줄 이제 내가 아노니 그의 오른손의 구원하는 힘으로 그의 거룩한 하늘에서 그에게 응답하시리로다
7   어떤 사람은 병거, 어떤 사람은 말을 의지하나 우리는 여호와 우리 하나님의 이름을 자랑하리로다
8   그들은 비틀거리며 엎드러지고 우리는 일어나 바로 서도다
9   여호와여 왕을 구원하소서 우리가 부를 때에 우리에게 응답하소서

12   예루살렘아 여호와를 찬송할지어다 시온아 네 하나님을 찬양할지어다
13   그가 네 문빗장을 견고히 하시고 네 가운데에 있는 너의 자녀들에게 복을 주셨으며
14   네 경내를 평안하게 하시고 아름다운 밀로 너를 배불리시며
15   그의 명령을 땅에 보내시니 그의 말씀이 속히 달리는도다
16   눈을 양털 같이 내리시며 서리를 재 같이 흩으시며
17   우박을 떡 부스러기 같이 뿌리시나니 누가 능히 그의 추위를 감당하리요
18   그의 말씀을 보내사 그것들을 녹이시고 바람을 불게 하신즉 물이 흐르는도다
19   그가 그의 말씀을 야곱에게 보이시며 그의 율례와 규례를 이스라엘에게 보이시는도다
20   그는 어느 민족에게도 이와 같이 행하지 아니하셨나니 그들은 그의 법도를 알지 못하였도다 할렐루야

3:14When the people set out from their tents to cross over the Jordan, the priests bearing the ark of the covenant were in front of the people. ¹⁵Now the Jordan overflows all its banks throughout the time of harvest. So when those who bore the ark had come to the Jordan, and the feet of the priests bearing the ark were dipped in the edge of the water, ¹⁶the waters flowing from above stood still, rising up in a single heap far off at Adam, the city that is beside Zarethan, while those flowing toward the sea of the Arabah, the Dead Sea, were wholly cut off. Then the people crossed over opposite Jericho. ¹⁷While all Israel were crossing over on dry ground, the priests who bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan, until the entire nation finished crossing over the Jordan.

4:1When the entire nation had finished crossing over the Jordan, the LORD said to Joshua: ²"Select twelve men from the people, one from each tribe, ³and command them, 'Take twelve stones from here out of the middle of the Jordan, from the place where the priests' feet stood, carry them over with you, and lay them down in the place where you camp tonight.'" ⁴Then Joshua summoned the twelve men from the Israelites, whom he had appointed, one from each tribe. ⁵Joshua said to them, "Pass on before the ark of the LORD your God into the middle of the Jordan, and each of you take up a stone on his shoulder, one for each of the tribes of the Israelites, ⁶so that this may be a sign among you. When your children ask in time to come, 'What do those stones mean to you?' ⁷then you shall tell them that the waters of the Jordan were cut off in front of the ark of the covenant of the LORD. When it crossed over the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. So these stones shall be to the Israelites a memorial forever."

¹Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children, ²and live in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

³But fornication and impurity of any kind, or greed, must not even be mentioned among you, as is proper among saints. ⁴Entirely out of place is obscene, silly, and vulgar talk; but instead, let there be thanksgiving. ⁵Be sure of this, that no fornicator or impure person, or one who is greedy (that is, an idolater), has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

⁶Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes on those who are disobedient. ⁷Therefore do not be associated with them. ⁸For once you were darkness, but now in the Lord you are light. Live as children of light — ⁹for the fruit of the light is found in all that is good and right and true. ¹⁰Try to find out what is pleasing to the Lord. ¹¹Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. ¹²For it is shameful even to mention what such people do secretly; ¹³but everything exposed by the light becomes visible, ¹⁴for everything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says,

"Sleeper, awake!

Rise from the dead,

and Christ will shine on you."

¹⁵Be careful then how you live, not as unwise people but as wise, ¹⁶making the most of the time, because the days are evil. ¹⁷So do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. ¹⁸Do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery; but be filled with the Spirit, ¹⁹as you sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, singing and making melody to the Lord in your hearts, ²⁰giving thanks to God the Father at all times and for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

¹As he walked along, he saw a man blind from birth. ²His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" ³Jesus answered, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned; he was born blind so that God's works might be revealed in him. ⁴We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming when no one can work. ⁵As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world." ⁶When he had said this, he spat on the ground and made mud with the saliva and spread the mud on the man's eyes, ⁷saying to him, "Go, wash in the pool of Siloam" (which means Sent). Then he went and washed and came back able to see. ⁸The neighbors and those who had seen him before as a beggar began to ask, "Is this not the man who used to sit and beg?" ⁹Some were saying, "It is he." Others were saying, "No, but it is someone like him." He kept saying, "I am the man." ¹⁰But they kept asking him, "Then how were your eyes opened?" ¹¹He answered, "The man called Jesus made mud, spread it on my eyes, and said to me, 'Go to Siloam and wash.' Then I went and washed and received my sight." ¹²They said to him, "Where is he?" He said, "I do not know."

³⁵Jesus heard that they had driven him out, and when he found him, he said, "Do you believe in the Son of Man?" ³⁶He answered, "And who is he, sir? Tell me, so that I may believe in him." ³⁷Jesus said to him, "You have seen him, and the one speaking with you is he." ³⁸He said, "Lord, I believe." And he worshiped him.

제 93 편

1   여호와께서 다스리시니 스스로 권위를 입으셨도다 여호와께서 능력의 옷을 입으시며 띠를 띠셨으므로 세계도 견고히 서서 흔들리지 아니하는도다
2   주의 보좌는 예로부터 견고히 섰으며 주는 영원부터 계셨나이다
3   여호와여 큰 물이 소리를 높였고 큰 물이 그 소리를 높였으니 큰 물이 그 물결을 높이나이다
4   높이 계신 여호와의 능력은 많은 물 소리와 바다의 큰 파도보다 크니이다
5   여호와여 주의 증거들이 매우 확실하고 거룩함이 주의 집에 합당하니 여호와는 영원무궁하시리이다

제 97 편

1   여호와께서 다스리시나니 땅은 즐거워하며 허다한 섬은 기뻐할지어다
2   구름과 흑암이 그를 둘렀고 의와 공평이 그의 보좌의 기초로다
3   불이 그의 앞에서 나와 사방의 대적들을 불사르시는도다
4   그의 번개가 세계를 비추니 땅이 보고 떨었도다
5   산들이 여호와의 앞 곧 온 땅의 주 앞에서 밀랍 같이 녹았도다
6   하늘이 그의 의를 선포하니 모든 백성이 그의 영광을 보았도다
7   조각한 신상을 섬기며 허무한 것으로 자랑하는 자는 다 수치를 당할 것이라 너희 신들아 여호와께 경배할지어다
8   여호와여 시온이 주의 심판을 듣고 기뻐하며 유다의 딸들이 즐거워하였나이다
9   여호와여 주는 온 땅 위에 지존하시고 모든 신들보다 위에 계시니이다
10   여호와를 사랑하는 너희여 악을 미워하라 그가 그의 성도의 영혼을 보전하사 악인의 손에서 건지시느니라
11   의인을 위하여 빛을 뿌리고 마음이 정직한 자를 위하여 기쁨을 뿌리시는도다
12   의인이여 너희는 여호와로 말미암아 기뻐하며 그의 거룩한 이름에 감사할지어다
