¹   ¡El Señor es Rey!
¡Él tiene su trono sobre los querubines!
Tiemblen las naciones, y aun la tierra entera.
²   El Señor es grande en el monte Sión;
el Señor está por encima de todos los pueblos.
³   Sea alabado su nombre, grande y terrible;
          ¡Dios es santo!
⁴   Tú eres un Rey poderoso que ama la justicia;
tú mismo estableciste la igualdad.
Has tratado a los hijos de Jacob
con justicia y rectitud.
⁵   ¡Alaben al Señor, nuestro Dios,
y arrodíllense delante de sus pies!
          ¡Dios es santo!

⁶   Moisés y Aarón están entre sus sacerdotes;
Samuel está entre los que alabaron su nombre.
El Señor les respondía
cuando ellos pedían su ayuda.
⁷   Dios habló con ellos
desde la columna de nube,
y ellos cumplieron sus mandatos
y la ley que les dio.

⁸   Señor, Dios nuestro, ¡tú les respondías!
Fuiste para ellos un Dios de perdón,
pero también castigaste sus maldades.
⁹   Alaben al Señor nuestro Dios,
¡arrodíllense ante su santo monte!
          ¡Nuestro Dios, el Señor, es santo!

¹⁸  Thus says the LORD:
     I am going to restore the fortunes of the tents of Jacob,
          and have compassion on his dwellings;
     the city shall be rebuilt upon its mound,
          and the citadel set on its rightful site.
¹⁹  Out of them shall come thanksgiving,
          and the sound of merrymakers.
     I will make them many, and they shall not be few;
          I will make them honored, and they shall not be disdained.
²⁰  Their children shall be as of old,
          their congregation shall be established before me;
          and I will punish all who oppress them.
²¹  Their prince shall be one of their own,
          their ruler shall come from their midst;
     I will bring him near, and he shall approach me,
          for who would otherwise dare to approach me?
                                                                                says the LORD.
²²  And you shall be my people,
          and I will be your God.

^1:24I am now rejoicing in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I am completing what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions for the sake of his body, that is, the church. ²⁵I became its servant according to God’s commission that was given to me for you, to make the word of God fully known, ²⁶the mystery that has been hidden throughout the ages and generations but has now been revealed to his saints. ²⁷To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. ²⁸It is he whom we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone in all wisdom, so that we may present everyone mature in Christ. ²⁹For this I toil and struggle with all the energy that he powerfully inspires within me.

^2:1For I want you to know how much I am struggling for you, and for those in Laodicea, and for all who have not seen me face to face. ²I want their hearts to be encouraged and united in love, so that they may have all the riches of assured understanding and have the knowledge of God’s mystery, that is, Christ himself, ³in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. ⁴I am saying this so that no one may deceive you with plausible arguments. ⁵For though I am absent in body, yet I am with you in spirit, and I rejoice to see your morale and the firmness of your faith in Christ.

⁶As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, continue to live your lives in him, ⁷rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.

²⁷“But I say to you that listen, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, ²⁸bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. ²⁹If anyone strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also; and from anyone who takes away your coat do not withhold even your shirt. ³⁰Give to everyone who begs from you; and if anyone takes away your goods, do not ask for them again. ³¹Do to others as you would have them do to you.

³²“If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. ³³If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. ³⁴If you lend to those from whom you hope to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, to receive as much again. ³⁵But love your enemies, do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return. Your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High; for he is kind to the ungrateful and the wicked. ³⁶Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

³⁷“Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven; ³⁸give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap; for the measure you give will be the measure you get back.”

1   Oh Señor,
          quiero alabarte con todo el corazón;
          quiero contar tus muchas maravillas.
2   Oh Altísimo,
          por ti quiero gritar lleno de alegría;
          ¡quiero cantar himnos a tu nombre!

3   Mis enemigos huyen delante de ti;
          caen y mueren.
4   Tú eres juez justo:
          te has sentado en tu trono, para hacerme justicia.

5   Has reprendido a los paganos,
          has destruido a los malvados,
          ¡has borrado su recuerdo para siempre!
6   El enemigo ha muerto,
          y con él han muerto sus ciudades;
          tú las destruiste,
          y no quedó de ellas ni el recuerdo.

7   Pero el Señor es Rey por siempre;
          ha afirmado su trono para el juicio:
8   juzgará al mundo con justicia,
          dictará a los pueblos justa sentencia.

9   El Señor protege a los oprimidos;
          él los protege en tiempos de angustia.
10   Señor,
          los que te conocen, confían en ti,
          pues nunca abandonas a quienes te buscan.

11   Canten himnos al Señor, que reina en Sión;
          anuncien a los pueblos lo que ha hecho.
12   Dios se acuerda de los afligidos
          y no olvida sus lamentos;
          castiga a quienes les hacen violencia.

13   Señor, ten compasión de mí,
          mira cómo me afligen los que me odian,
          ¡sácame de las puertas de la muerte!
14   Y así, a las puertas de Jerusalén,
          diré a todo el mundo que tú eres digno de alabanza,
          y que yo soy feliz porque me has salvado.

15   Los paganos caen en su propia trampa;
          sus pies quedan atrapados
          en la red que ellos mismos escondieron.
16   El Señor se ha dado a conocer:
          ¡ha hecho justicia!
          El malvado queda preso
          en la trampa tendida por él mismo. Higgaion. Selah

17   Los malvados y paganos,
          los que se olvidan de Dios,
          acabarán en el reino de la muerte;
18   pues no siempre serán olvidados los pobres,
          ni para siempre se perderá su esperanza.

19   Levántate, Señor;
          no consientas la altanería del hombre;
          ¡juzga a los paganos en tu presencia!
20   Hazles sentir temor, Señor;
          ¡hazles saber que no son más que hombres!

1 Den gracias al Señor, porque él es bueno,
porque su amor es eterno.
2 Que digan los israelitas:
    «El amor del Señor es eterno.»
3 Que digan los sacerdotes:
    «El amor del Señor es eterno.»
4 Que digan los que honran al Señor:
    «El amor del Señor es eterno.»

5 En mi angustia llamé al Señor;
él me escuchó y me dio libertad.
6 El Señor está conmigo; no tengo miedo.
¿Qué me puede hacer el hombre?
7 El Señor está conmigo; él me ayuda.
¡He de ver derrotados a los que me odian!
8 Es mejor confiar en el Señor
que confiar en el hombre.
9 Es mejor confiar en el Señor
que confiar en grandes hombres.

10 Todas las naciones me rodearon,
pero en el nombre del Señor las derroté.
11 Me rodearon por todos lados,
pero en el nombre del Señor las derroté.
12 Me rodearon como avispas,
pero su furia se apagó como fuego de espinos;
¡en el nombre del Señor las derroté!
13 Me empujaron con violencia, para que cayera,
pero el Señor vino en mi ayuda.
14 Yo canto al Señor, que me da fuerzas.
¡Él es mi Salvador!

15 En las casas de los hombres fieles
hay alegres cantos victoriosos:
«¡El poder del Señor alcanzó la victoria!
16 ¡El poder del Señor es extraordinario!
¡El poder del Señor alcanzó la victoria!»
17 ¡No moriré, sino que he de vivir
para contar lo que el Señor ha hecho!
18 El Señor me ha castigado con dureza,
pero no me ha dejado morir.

19 ¡Abran las puertas del templo,
que quiero entrar a dar gracias al Señor!

20 Ésta es la puerta del Señor,
y por ella entrarán los que le son fieles.

21 Te doy gracias, Señor, porque me has respondido
y porque eres mi salvador.
22 La piedra que los constructores despreciaron
se ha convertido en la piedra principal.
23 Esto lo ha hecho el Señor,
y estamos maravillados.
24 Éste es el día en que el Señor ha actuado:
¡estemos hoy contentos y felices!

25 Por favor, Señor, ¡sálvanos!
Por favor, Señor, ¡haz que nos vaya bien!

26 ¡Bendito el que viene en el nombre del Señor!
Bendecimos a ustedes desde el templo del Señor.
27 El Señor es Dios; ¡él nos alumbra!
Comiencen la fiesta y lleven ramas
hasta los cuernos del altar.

28 Te doy gracias y alabo tu grandeza,
porque tú eres mi Dios.
29 Den gracias al Señor, porque él es bueno,
porque su amor es eterno.
