1 (2) Ten compasión de mí, Dios mío, ten compasión de mí,
pues en ti busco protección.
Quiero protegerme debajo de tus alas
hasta que el peligro haya pasado.
2 (3) Voy a clamar al Dios altísimo,
al Dios que en todo me ayuda.
3 (4) Él enviará desde el cielo su amor y su verdad,
y me salvará de quienes con rabia me persiguen.

4 (5) Tendido estoy, por el suelo,
entre leones que se comen a la gente;
sus dientes son como lanzas y flechas,
su lengua es una espada afilada.

5 (6) Dios mío, tú estás por encima del cielo.
    ¡Tu gloria llena toda la tierra!

6 (7) Mis enemigos me pusieron una trampa
para doblegar mi ánimo;
hicieron un hoyo a mi paso,
pero ellos mismos cayeron en él.

7 (8) Mi corazón está dispuesto, Dios mío,
mi corazón está dispuesto a cantarte himnos.
8 (9) Despierta, alma mía;
despierten, arpa y salterio;
¡despertaré al nuevo día!
9 (10) Te alabaré con himnos, Señor,
en medio de pueblos y naciones.
10 (11) Pues tu amor es grande hasta los cielos;
tu lealtad alcanza al cielo azul.

11 (12) Dios mío, tú estás por encima del cielo.
    ¡Tu gloria llena toda la tierra!

1 (1b) Hablaré de tu grandeza, mi Dios y Rey;
bendeciré tu nombre por siempre.
2 Diariamente te bendeciré;
alabaré tu nombre por siempre.
3 El Señor es grande y muy digno de alabanza;
su grandeza excede nuestro entendimiento.

4 De padres a hijos se alabarán tus obras,
se anunciarán tus hechos poderosos.
5 Se hablará de tu majestad gloriosa,
y yo hablaré de tus maravillas.
6 Se hablará de tus hechos poderosos y terribles,
y yo hablaré de tu grandeza.
7 Se hablará de tu bondad inmensa,
y a gritos se dirá que tú eres justo.

8 El Señor es tierno y compasivo,
es paciente y todo amor.
9 El Señor es bueno para con todos,
y con ternura cuida sus obras.

10 ¡Que te alaben, Señor, todas tus obras!
¡Que te bendigan tus fieles!
11 ¡Que hablen del esplendor de tu reino!
¡Que hablen de tus hechos poderosos!
12 ¡Que se haga saber a los hombres tu poder
y el gran esplendor de tu reino!
13 Tu reino es un reino eterno,
tu dominio es por todos los siglos.

14 El Señor sostiene a los que caen
y levanta a los que desfallecen.
15 Los ojos de todos esperan de ti
que tú les des su comida a su tiempo.
16 Abres tu mano, y con tu buena voluntad
satisfaces a todos los seres vivos.
17 El Señor es justo en sus caminos,
bondadoso en sus acciones.
18 El Señor está cerca de los que lo invocan,
de los que lo invocan con sinceridad.
19 Él cumple los deseos de los que lo honran;
cuando le piden ayuda, los oye y los salva.
20 El Señor protege a los que lo aman,
pero destruye a los malvados.

21 ¡Que mis labios alaben al Señor!
¡Que todos bendigan su santo nombre,
ahora y siempre!

¹³If you will only heed his every commandment that I am commanding you today - loving the LORD your God, and serving him with all your heart and with all your soul - ¹⁴then he will give the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the later rain, and you will gather in your grain, your wine, and your oil; ¹⁵and he will give grass in your fields for your livestock, and you will eat your fill. ¹⁶Take care, or you will be seduced into turning away, serving other gods and worshiping them, ¹⁷for then the anger of the LORD will be kindled against you and he will shut up the heavens, so that there will be no rain and the land will yield no fruit; then you will perish quickly off the good land that the LORD is giving you.

¹⁸You shall put these words of mine in your heart and soul, and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and fix them as an emblem on your forehead. ¹⁹Teach them to your children, talking about them when you are at home and when you are away, when you lie down and when you rise.

¹¹Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord, we try to persuade others; but we ourselves are well known to God, and I hope that we are also well known to your consciences. ¹²We are not commending ourselves to you again, but giving you an opportunity to boast about us, so that you may be able to answer those who boast in outward appearance and not in the heart. ¹³For if we are beside ourselves, it is for God; if we are in our right mind, it is for you. ¹⁴For the love of Christ urges us on, because we are convinced that one has died for all; therefore all have died. ¹⁵And he died for all, so that those who live might live no longer for themselves, but for him who died and was raised for them.

¹⁶From now on, therefore, we regard no one from a human point of view; even though we once knew Christ from a human point of view, we know him no longer in that way. ¹⁷So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new! ¹⁸All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation; ¹⁹that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting the message of reconciliation to us. ²⁰So we are ambassadors for Christ, since God is making his appeal through us; we entreat you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. ²¹For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

¹As we work together with him, we urge you also not to accept the grace of God in vain. ²For he says, "At an acceptable time I have listened to you, and on a day of salvation I have helped you." See, now is the acceptable time; see, now is the day of salvation!

¹Jesus said to his disciples, "Occasions for stumbling are bound to come, but woe to anyone by whom they come! ²It would be better for you if a millstone were hung around your neck and you were thrown into the sea than for you to cause one of these little ones to stumble. ³Be on your guard! If another disciple sins, you must rebuke the offender, and if there is repentance, you must forgive. ⁴And if the same person sins against you seven times a day, and turns back to you seven times and says, 'I repent,' you must forgive."

⁵The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith!" ⁶The Lord replied, "If you had faith the size of a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it would obey you.

⁷"Who among you would say to your slave who has just come in from plowing or tending sheep in the field, 'Come here at once and take your place at the table'? ⁸Would you not rather say to him, 'Prepare supper for me, put on your apron and serve me while I eat and drink; later you may eat and drink'? ⁹Do you thank the slave for doing what was commanded? ¹⁰So you also, when you have done all that you were ordered to do, say, 'We are worthless slaves; we have done only what we ought to have done!'"

1 (2) Señor,
tú has sido muy bueno con este país tuyo;
has cambiado la suerte de Jacob;
2 (3) has perdonado la maldad de tu pueblo
y todos sus pecados;
3 (4) has calmado por completo
tu enojo y tu furor.

4 (5) Dios y Salvador nuestro,
¡sálvanos también ahora
y no sigas enojado con nosotros!
5 (6) ¿Acaso vas a prolongar por siempre
tu enojo contra nosotros?
6 (7) ¿No volverás a darnos vida,
para que tu pueblo se alegre por ti?
7 (8) Oh Señor,
¡muéstranos tu amor, y sálvanos!

8 (9) Escucharé lo que el Señor va a decir;
pues va a hablar de paz a su pueblo,
a los que le son fieles,
para que no vuelvan a hacer locuras.
9 (10) En verdad, Dios está muy cerca,
para salvar a los que le honran;
su gloria vivirá en nuestra tierra.

10 (11) El amor y la verdad se darán cita,
la paz y la justicia se besarán,
11 (12) la verdad brotará de la tierra
y la justicia mirará desde el cielo.
12 (13) El Señor mismo traerá la lluvia,
y nuestra tierra dará su fruto.
13 (14) La justicia irá delante de él,
y le preparará el camino.

1 (2) ¡Aplaudan, pueblos todos!
¡Aclamen a Dios con gritos de alegría!
2 (3) Porque el Señor, el Altísimo, es terrible;
es el gran Rey de toda la tierra.
3 (4) Destrozó pueblos y naciones
y los sometió a nuestro yugo.
4 (5) Nos ha escogido nuestra herencia,
que es orgullo de Jacob, a quien amó.

5 (6) ¡Dios el Señor ha subido a su trono
entre gritos de alegría y toques de trompeta!
6 (7) ¡Canten, canten himnos a Dios!
¡Canten, canten himnos a nuestro Rey!
7 (8) ¡Canten un poema a Dios,
porque él es el Rey de toda la tierra!
8 (9) ¡Dios es el Rey de las naciones!
¡Dios está sentado en su santo trono!
9 (10a) Los hombres importantes de las naciones
se unen al pueblo del Dios de Abraham,
10 (10b) pues de Dios son los poderes del mundo.
¡Él está por encima de todo!
