Learn more about how climate change impacts the food system and ways you can take action.
Food is our sustenance, our nourishment, part of God’s bountiful gift of creation. The earth produces, we eat, and our bodies move forward fueled for living. We need the energy contained in food to work, to play, to love each other, to do the work God calls us to do. Food is also where we come together—as family, as friends, as church. Gathering around meals provides nourishment not only physically but also spiritually and emotionally. How, in our everyday lives, can we practice our faith when it comes to food and eating?
