A children’s sermon for use with One Great Hour of Sharing, written by Jenna Campbell, a Certified Christian Educator serving as the Director of Children and Youth Ministry at First Presbyterian Church in Stillwater, Oklahoma

During this lesson, children grades 5-8 will:

• Identify specific faithful actions God calls each of us to do according to Isaiah 58
• Compare and contrast the impact made by working as a team rather than alone
• Discover ways that God is using the money given to One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS) to “repair the breach” and “restore streets to live in”

During this lesson, children grades K-4 will:

• Discover the work God calls them to in Isaiah 58
• Consider how big things can be accomplished when we work together
• Reflect on what specific things they can do as they work together for a better world
• Learn about projects their money supports through One Great Hour of Sharing
