Participants will learn about how the Presbyterian Church (USA) engages in poverty eradication through the Presbyterian Committee on the Self-Development of People (SDOP). SDOP seeks to form partnerships with groups of economically poor people seeking to engage in community initiated and led projects that will directly benefit them. Our hope is that your involvement in this lesson will lead to your further engagement in our collective efforts to eradicate poverty and make God’s community livable for all.
