As in many other places in the world, the global pandemic has pushed millions of Filipinos and their children further into poverty. But a global partner of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), The United Church of Christ in the Philippines (UCCP), has responded in creative ways not only to feed the children’s bodies but to deal with their psychosocial needs as well.

Presbyterians for Earth Care has a reputation for presenting its conferences every two years in appropriately picturesque locations such as the Presbyterian conference centers Ghost Ranch in New Mexico, Montreat in North Carolina and Stony Point in New York.

Like the Presbyterian Mission Agency, the Office of the General Assembly has been rethinking what it means to do ministry in the 21st century, the Rev. Dr. J. Herbert Nelson, II, Stated Clerk of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), told PMA board members Wednesday.

The Presbyterian Historical Society (PHS) has completed mass digitization of 48 volumes of the original records of the First Presbyterian Church in the City of New York, amounting to more than 10,000 pages. The earliest records are now available online for all to explore.

The Rev. Lukata Mjumbe, pastor of Witherspoon Street Presbyterian Church in Princeton, New Jersey, has been selected to be the faith-based policy advisor for U.S. Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman, who represents New Jersey’s 12th District.

“God Is with Us in Every Season,” a new resource from UKirk Collegiate Ministries, is now available for congregations to help them celebrate College & Young Adult Sunday in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) on Sunday, August 8.
