Hunger Action Congregations
The Hunger Action Congregation network celebrates the faithful work of Presbyterians around the country who are responding to the biblical call to help alleviate hunger and end its causes. Your church can be a covenanting Hunger Action Congregation if you are active in at least one of the six areas. Congregations acting in all six areas can be Certified Hunger Action Congregations.
Individuals who are interested in receiving PHP information and resources and participating on calls with HACs are invited to join as part of a broader Hunger Action Network. Sign up here!
Ending Hunger and Its Causes — Six Areas:

- Development Assistance
- Hunger Education
- Lifestyle Integrity
- Corporate and Public Policy Witness
- Worship
Step 1: Form a Hunger Action Team (or similar committee). Members – including children and youth –meet periodically to assess and grow the church’s hunger ministry.
Step 2: Gather your congregation’s information. Download a copy of the covenant, review it together, and fill it out. Please keep for your own records.
Step 3: Covenant to Become a Hunger Action Congregation. Enter the information from your Word document into the online form at bit.ly/hungeractionform.
