Form used to report to the Office of Resourcing Committees on Preparation for Ministry particular action of the presbytery committee relative to the withdrawal, removal, or ordination of enrolled persons. Page 38 of application
Form used in the transfer of an enrollee from one presbytery to another; completed and signed by the stated clerk of the transferring presbytery and the stated clerk of the receiving presbytery, who mails a copy to the Office of Resourcing Committees on Preparation for Ministry. Page 37 of application.
This form, completed by the CPM, acknowledges that the CPM of the candidate’s presbytery has conducted a final assessment of the candidate’s preparation and readiness to begin ministry, that he/she has successfully completed all of the denomination’s and the committee’s requirements and is ready to be examined for ordination. Also included on the form is a description of the information to be sent to a calling presbytery when requested. Pages 35-36 of the application.
The draft is compulsory enrollment in the armed services. The last draft in the United States occured during the Vietnam War. Registering for the draft is not the same as enlisting to serve with the armed services. While registering for the draft is required and is unique to men, enlisting in the armed services is not required, but is an option for both men and women in the United States.
