Facts and statistics regarding trends in how congregations give to support mission
The Office of International Evangelismworks within Presbyterian World Missionto do evangelism in many parts of the world. Much of our work is helping to fund partner organizations to engage effectively in evangelism. Some of our work supports frontier evangelism, bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ to people who have never heard it before. And some of our work is in Bible translation and distribution, making the Word of God available to people who would not otherwise have it.

Use this card as you pray for Mission Co-workers Jonathan and Emily Seitz. The card includes a photo and overview of their work. Jonathan and Emily serve at Taiwan College and Theological Seminary at Taipei, helping to prepare leaders for the Taiwanese church. Jonathan serves the school as professor of theology and missiology. The seminarians he prepares for ministry typically begin their ministries in Taiwan’s small, rural churches. In addition, he teaches lay leaders as part of the seminary’s Lay Academy and pastors who return for continuing education.

Dozens of congregations in the Pittsburgh area are welcoming assembly participants to their churches on Sunday, arranging for any necessary transportation, and hosting assembly guests for lunch following the service.
The list of congregations below includes information about these churches and the transportation arrangements. Most buses and vans depart from the David Lawrence Convention Center (DLCC), participants will be returned to the DLCC by 1:00 p.m.

As you may know, new immigrant ministries are the fastest-growing communities of faith in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Of the 10,657 PC(USA) congregations, more than 12 percent are racial ethnic congregations. And, if we include other communities of faith, almost 15 percent of Presbyterian communities of faith are racial ethnic.
