Spirituality is no longer confined to the private domain of the religious or what has been traditionally considered sacred. Spirituality in the workplace is even being recognized as a movement, and some attribute this change to the increasing presence of women in the workplace.By recognizing and uplifting spirituality in the workplace, business and people will thrive. And this new mindset may help more women be comfortable in power and leadership roles.

It will also attempt to show the motivations. behind our Middle East policy statement adopted in 1974 as well as later peacemaking efforts in that troubled area.
The Mission Work Plan of the General Assembly Mission Council that was approved by the Council in February 2012 consists of statements of Vision, Mission, Directional Goals and Core Values that were developed in a comprehensive process over seven months, and involving inputs from hundreds of church leaders, including GAMC members, and GAMC staff members, and hours of prayer and deliberation by the staff and elected members of the strategy planning teams. This GAMC Strategy White Paper is the result of that work.

Presbyterians don’t have a state or region where they are the predominant religious group. But what they lack in concentration, they make up in spread: In 2010 there was at least one PC(USA) congregation in 2,388 of the 3,221 counties in the United States (74 percent).
