The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) has demanded the end of a program called ATEP (Alien Transfer and Exit Program) because it is dangerous and separates families and friends during the removal process. The Stated Clerk has written a letter to officials at the Department of Homeland Security and Customs and Border Protection, which discusses the problems with the program and requests the program be ended.
