She and her faculty colleagues prepare future ministers to serve in a country where there is only one pastor for every 7,000 Church of Central Africa Presbyterian members. A ruling elder in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), Donna brings wide-ranging professional experience and education to mission service. She has worked as a Registered Nurse, ordained minister, and a college professor, holds masters’ degrees in public health and divinity, and earned an interdisciplinary doctorate in arts and sciences. “I sense a clear call to do mission work, and I believe God has been preparing me for this work throughout my life, through my varied career endeavors, my education, and my multifaceted work experiences,” she says.
