The New Immigrant Clergywomen’s Leadership Institute begins this week in Daytona Beach, Florida, as approximately 17 female clergy from around the country gather to collaborate and develop leadership skills to better serve their congregations and the church.

This decision by President Trump reversed a gradual transformation under the Obama administration, which welcomed transgender people to serve openly.

Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, is planning to close its satellite campuses in Seattle, Menlo Park and Orange County and reduce degree and program course offerings in Phoenix and Colorado. The changes, if approved by accreditors, will be effective at the end of September 2019.
