As thousands of people across the country line up every day to get vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus, the Stated Clerk of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) says it’s up to each individual to decide whether they will or won’t.
The Rev. Dr. J. Herbert Nelson, II, says he’s talked with individuals on both sides of the question, some in support and others saying no. Last week, he was vaccinated in Frankfort as part of a group of religious leaders who stand in favor of vaccinations.
Nelson says he based his decision on what was best for his neighbor.
