Effective March 30, the position titles for Alicia Samuels and Laura Cheifetz will change to be Vice President of eCommerce and Marketing and Vice President of Church and Public Relations, respectively.
This change will coincide with the combining of Presbyterian Publishing Corporation's (PPC) retail and trade marketing departments under Samuel’s leadership. This combination provides for synergy and easier communication and collaboration among PPC marketing staff and recognizes the natural advantage in publishing of having a check and balance relationship between the editorial and marketing functions.
PPC’s President and Publisher Marc Lewis states, “PPC is extremely fortunate to have a very competent and committed senior leadership team of Alicia, Laura, Vice President of Publishing David Dobson, and Vice President and Chief Operations Officer Monty Anderson. I am very pleased to work with these colleagues and to observe the positive team dynamics among them. Of course, the role of leaders is greatly benefited when taking into consideration the overall strength, dedication and collegiality of the entire PPC staff.”
Presbyterian Publishing Corporation is the denominational publisher of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). With a publishing heritage that dates back more than 175 years, PPC publishes approximately sixty titles each year and maintains a backlist of more than 2,000 titles that are sold throughout the world. In addition to These Days, PPC publishes works under four major imprints: Westminster John Knox Press, Geneva Press, TheThoughtfulChristian.com, and PCUSAstore.com.
