Discover the many benefits found in the ancient art and practice of Christian pilgrimage during Holy Week, March 31 - April 5, 2015 at Ghost Ranch Education & Retreat Center in the painted desert of northern New Mexico.

The program will include Preparation for Pilgrimage, Tuesday, March 31 - Thursday, April 2, 2015, offering a morning pilgrimage to Casa del Sol, the spiritual retreat center of Ghost Ranch; and Holy Week Pilgrimage & Prayer, beginning with the ancient practice of footwashing on Maundy Thursday evening (April 2), a Good Friday pilgrimage to El Santuario de Chimayo with hundreds of other pilgrims;  observance of Holy Saturday, and an early morning departure to Christ in the Desert monastery to celebrate Easter with the Benedictine community of monks.

Brett Webb-Mitchell, a teaching elder in the Presbyterian Church (USA) will lead the week-long pilgrimage program.  He has been on numerous pilgrimages all over the world and in 2007 began the religious non-profit School of the Pilgrim (www.schoolofthepilgrim.com), leading church groups on pilgrimages here and abroad. He has authored three books on pilgrimage: “Follow Me”, (NY Seabury Press); “School of the Pilgrim”, (Louisville W/JKP); and soon to be published “Practicing Pilgrimage”, (Eugene: Cascade Books).
