PEORIA, Ill. — The Presbytery of Great Rivers is hosting Bloom Where You Are Planted Oct. 17-18. Featuring preaching and workshops, the event is a chance to reflect with others seeking to respond to God’s call to bring hope.
ST. PAUL, Minn. — The Synod of Lakes and Prairies encourages new pastors to attend “Let’s Get Real: A Workshop for New Pastors” Aug. 19-21 at the Lakeshore Center on Okoboji near Milford, Iowa.
Mark Sundby, executive director of North Central Ministry Development Center in New Brighton, Minnesota, will lead the event. New pastors are defined as those who have served five years or less. Details about the event can be found in the Lakeshore Center’s June 6 newsletter.
