The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) asks that everyone hold the people of Pakistan in their thoughts and prayers following the attack on the school in Peshawar. Pray for the children and adults who were killed and for the family, friends, teachers, and schoolmates who grieve for them. Ask God to sustain the people of Pakistan as their nation comes to terms with this tragedy. Please pray that the spirit and strength of the Pakistani people will prevail as their nation recovers.
Eternal Loving God: Lord of all life.
We come to you today with hearts saddened by the senseless deaths of these school children
We need the tender touch of your great love and mercy.
Speak to us Lord,
comfort us with your gracious presence.
Through Jesus Christ our Lord, we pray together.
Amen
