From the popular Engage curriculum line, the study Engage: Gospel is available for Spanish and Korean speakers.
“Engage is an amazing resource for the church in their efforts to reach people with the message of the gospel,” said Marissa Galvan-Valle, associate for resources and relationships with Hispanic/Latino constituencies. “Having the studies available in three languages will allow churches of different cultural backgrounds to engage on a journey of discernment, witness, and action.”
Engage: Gospel begins with participants reclaiming their own stories of transformation and the story of God’s redemptive mission that is found in Scripture. Sharing the latter story is foundational to the church. Order Engage: Gospel for Spanish, Korean, and English speakers here.
Based on the well-loved Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) program of the same name, Engage curriculum inspires a journey of prayer and faith sharing, equips members to live out and share their growing faith, and connects the church with its community. Each seven-session resource—Engage: Gospel, Engage: Discipleship, and Engage: Mission—was developed in partnership with the Office of Evangelism, PC(USA), and Congregational Ministries Publishing.
In 2014, Engage: Discipleship for Spanish and Korean speakers will be published. Engage: Mission will follow.
Also new in 2014 is Engage Youth Curriculum. This six-session resource encourages youth to spread the good news of Jesus Christ. A Participant’s Workbook serves as a personal journal for teens with opportunities for self-discovery as a disciple of Jesus.
