With the 224th General Assembly (2020) in the history books, leaders in the Office of the General Assembly have begun to look at how future church gatherings will be held. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, church leaders were forced to pull together an online assembly in June.

Last month, the Committee on the Office of the General Assembly (COGA) appointed a subcommittee to begin looking at how the 225th General Assembly (2022) might come together.

The Reverend Dr. J. Herbert Nelson, II, Stated Clerk of General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), says whatever decision is made, things will have to change.
