SPREADING NEIGHBORLY LOVE IN DALTON, GA

It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood, and we’re celebrating First Presbyterian Church Dalton in Dalton, GA.

Each March, the congregation honors Fred Rogers' birthday with a "Love Your Neighbor" theme.

This year, they turned that celebration into a full congregational giving campaign built around the Presbyterian Giving Catalog. The church’s youth painted wooden animal cut-outs, Sunday school lessons explored the real-life benefits of raising farm animals and the congregation decorated custom donation collection boxes. A children's sermon tied it all together, connecting Mr. Rogers' teachings about neighborly love to families around the world who could benefit from their generosity.

It's a beautiful reminder that when a congregation asks, "Won't you be my neighbor?" the answer can reach farther than any of us might imagine.

CIRCLING BACK TO JOY AND GENEROSITY

The Joy Circle of Fellowship Presbyterian Church in Tallahassee, FL, is spreading a little joy through the Presbyterian Giving Catalog.

This group of women who gather for monthly meetings, not for special events or elaborate fundraisers, just generous women coming together to do what they can for neighbors around the world.

Since 2023, the Joy Circle’s steady generosity has added up to three gifts through the Giving Catalog. They remind us that you don't need a crowd or a big occasion to make a real difference if you’ve got a circle of people committed to showing up, month after month, with joyful hearts.

We're grateful for Fellowship Presbyterian’s Joy Circle and the consistent generosity they model for all of us.

PRESBYTERIAN YOUTH TAKE A WALK FOR CLEAN WATER

We're celebrating the young people of First Presbyterian Church in Neenah, WI, and the steps they took to bring clean water to kids around the world.

When the middle school JOY and high school SPY youth groups learned that millions of children spend their days carrying water instead of attending school, they took action.

The two groups worked together to organize a "Water Walk" to raise awareness and funds — resulting in clean water gifts through the Giving Catalog that including Community Irrigation Water Pumps, Garden Wells, Mzuzu Drills, Rainwater Catchment Systems and Water Filters. This is what can happen when young people learn their neighbors around the world face challenges they've never had to imagine and decide to do something about it.

We're so grateful for the compassion and energy of First Presbyterian's youth and honored to witness their generosity put to work in the world.

PLANTING A FOREST OF GENEROSITY FOR EARTH DAY

Today, we're planted with First Presbyterian Church of Port Angeles, WA!

When this congregation of 165 people celebrated Earth Day with a Season of Creation, they honored the occasion by helping plant new life around the world. Their gifts through the Presbyterian Giving Catalog gave 56 Sapling Sets, helping to provide communities resources that can grow trees to provide food, firewood, shade and sustainability for generations to come.

That's a forest of resources in the making!

We're grateful for First Presbyterian's commitment to caring for Earth and all its people.
