The Faith and Money Network is planning a "Trip of Perspective" focused on Faith, Mountains and the Economy to Wise County, Virginia to explore the impact of mountaintop removal (MTR) coal mining. The trip aims to foster awareness of injustices related to the practice of MTR, build relationships, make connections between our use of energy and environmental impacts, and move participants to personal and political action to make a difference in this issue.
