Colleagues at the PCUSA national offices here in Louisville, KY gathered to plan, lead, and participate in worship yesterday. Worship themes wove together this evocative time of resurrection joy and re-commitment to God's creation-- this week that holds both Easter and Earth Day.
Proclaiming Christ's resurrection, and remembering John 12:24 that uses the metaphor of Christ as a seed that dies to then bring forth much fruit, in worship yesterday we focused on the seeds God is sowing in our own lives.
We read scripture, sang, prayed, shared reflections, planted seeds, and shared communion.
What are you and your worshipping communities doing in this Easter-tide and/or for Earth Day? We invite you to share your stories and ideas!
